It is popular as a good-luck charm for good fortune and business prosperity.
Mount Fuji has traditionally symbolized longevity and prosperity because of its flared shape and the fact that it is Japan’s tallest mountain.
Furthermore, when combined with “red”—a color associated with good fortune in Japan—it has come to be regarded as a symbol with even stronger auspicious significance.
